Living in my Ynez Tiny House at the edge of the Los Padres National Forest in Southern California, I've learned many things that can help others with the transition to tiny living. This blog will follow my struggle to balance modern life with my desire for simplicity as well as give helpful suggestions for those who have not yet made the leap to living smaller.

Life, love and coffee
Recently I received an email from a friend about life and coffee. I don't know the author but it was too good not to pass along. Let me know what you think.
Life is like a cup of coffee. Click on the link below.
It's wonderful!! I live my life like that and feel it's so much richer because I live for experiences, not possessions. When people make negative comments about it I tell them I may not have much but that also means I don't have much to lose and can easily start over if need be. I'd much rather have control if my own time than make a lot of money and not have much free time! Thank you for sharing your tiny house journey with us, I appreciate the input from someone who's living their own tiny dream!! I'm going to a tiny house workshop this weekend and then my next step is buying the trailer. I just can't wait to get started!
